The Essence
Though a relative newcomer to the stateside film market, Mejías is considered one of Puerto Rico’s foremost young actresses and performance artists. She approached us with an exciting new project, The Vessel, produced by Terrence Malick and starring Martin Sheen. The film provided Aris an opportunity to introduce her work to U.S. media.
The Approach
Working with Aris, we introduced an already recognized local artist to a much larger U.S. audience. We focused on highlighting Aris’s versatility, range as a character actress, and the appreciation and respect she has earned both for her performances and her authentic personality. We shone light on her polished raw talent, sharing with the world that Aris is one to watch out for.
