The Essence

For over 3 decades, the Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College (Centro) has been the only academic research institute solely devoted to the interdisciplinary study of the Puerto Rican experience in the United States. The organization links data and scholarship to policy and social action, and contributes to the enrichment of Puerto Rican studies across the country.

The Approach

Some of the highlights from the process included developing a more refined and targeted approach for reaching out to the media and our community; revamping and strengthening their social media strategies; and connecting the organization to younger audiences and initiatives.
